#dc1968 dedicated to bobby r hale

bobby r hale (my father) in his apartment at 1325 emerson st, nw.  he was an avid photographer.  one day i mentioned to him that i was researching 1968. about a month later, he casually handed me an unmarked envelope.  inside were a dozen beautiful, color images of street corner scenes of columbia heights and h street, in april & may 1968!  i was floored.  i had no idea he had taken those photographs.  it's because of my dad that i'm committed to crowdsourcing this project.
