frederick douglass film featured @negro history week event
This is the 3rd installment of 1968 Negro History Week posts. For the other two, see here and here.
The image above comes from the 14 February 1968 (p. C11) issue of the Washington Post. Two films, Frederick Douglass and They Beat the Odds, were being shown that day at the Benning Library, Benning Road near Minnesota Avenue, NE.
I was able to find a description of They Beat the Odds but not Frederick Douglass.
