james a porter colloquium @howard this week

The James A Porter Colloquium on African American Art, an annual event organized by the Howard University Department of Art, will be held this week from Wednesday 5 April through Sunday 9 April.

Named in honor of artist, art historian and professor, James A Porter, the colloquium will focus on art and the archive.  To see the program, click here.

I just tried to register and colloquium tickets were sold out.  That's great news for the colloquium organizers and bad news for those of us who want to attend.
