#OTD Sunday 14 January 1968, David H. Eaton hosted his weekly show, "Speak Up," on WOL radio. His guests were Stokely Carmichael (Black United Front co-founder), Courtland Cox (SNCC member) and Lester McKinnie (chair DC SNCC). The show aired from 11pm-1am.

Eaton and his guests fielded a number of questions from callers who asked about BUF and about the specific things that Washingtonians needed to do to advance black freedom struggles.

Your comments are welcome below. Do you remember David Eaton's radio show? Do you remember WOL? Did you call into the show? You may also comment privately here.
