9 october 1968 & ann hobson recital @pan american union

#OTD-ish 9 October 1968 One week ago, on 2 October, Ann Hobson, the National Symphony Orchestra harpist, had her first solo recital in the city at the Pan America Union (17th & Constitution NW). Her recital opened the Pan American Union’s concert series. Tickets were free and had to be requested from the organization’s music division.

Your comments are welcome below. Did you, a family member or neighbor attend the recital? Do you have photographs of the recital? Do you have a concert program? Did you play the harp in 1968? Do you remember seeing Ann Hobson play with the NSO? Did you work at the Pan American Union in 1968? You may comment privately here.
