2 november 1968 & white police officer shoots/injures two individuals near 14th & chapin sts nw
#OTD 2 November 2 1968 A white police officer, Tommy L. Snow, shoots Nannie Haskins with his gun, and one of the bullets hits and injures teenager, Eva Walker. Moreover, a seven year old, frightened by Snow’s violence, runs, falls and is injured. There were immediate protests against the shooting by neighbors, Pride Inc. and Howard University students.
