#OTD-ish 26 December 1968 Howard University professors Lois Jones Pierre-Noel (also known as Lois Mailou Jones) and Peter Yu, and Fine Arts students—Robert Allen, George Luther, Bill Harris, Joyce Lancaster, Leslie Scott and Cecilia Washington—discuss advertising art on channel 4 (WRC-TV).
According to the Hilltop:
“In an informal setting displaying posters, layouts, package designs and other student work, “Professors Lois J. Pierre-Noel and Peter Yu discussed the daily use of art in our society. Leslie Scott, a graduate student in Design, summarized from his thesis, the history of commercial art.”
