26 june 1968 & national park service dismantles resurrection city
#OTD 26 June 2018 National Park Service workers continue to dismantle Resurrection City, destroying the encampment that housed ~3,000 residents for six weeks. The above photo and others taken by a U.S. News & World Report photographer show the remains of the city, including:

fans
children's bicycles
books
suitcases
mattresses
cribs

cooling fans

coolers
