#OTD-ish 11 August 1968 Cynthia Davis, Veronica Hale, Marya McQuirter and Tracye McQuirter enjoy ice cream and lollipops on their Aunt Ann's porch. Their aunt lived in a home near what is now Fort Totten Metro station. She bought the house with her spouse, Louis Barnett.

Your comments are welcome below. Were you, family members or friends porch sitters? What was your go-to summer treat? Do you remember ice cream trucks in 1968? Did you grow up near what is now the Fort Totten Metro station? What do you remember about those neighborhoods in 1968? You may comment privately here.
