31 august 1968 & black and yellow butterfly

#OTD-ish 31 August 1968 Phil Portlock, who began in 1968 what would be a life-long commitment to photography, captured a butterfly with his camera at the National Arboretum.

Today, I am thinking about and in solidarity with the individuals in public and private prisons who are on strike.
