18 september 1968 & oil company ad in hilltop

#OTD-ish 18 September 2018 Howard University students saw this ad for the Atlantic Richfield company in the Hilltop. It states:

“They do exciting things like mining oil instead of pumping it. Working on air pollution. Making electricity from the atom. Isn’t that the kind of company you want to work for?”

Students were encouraged to talk with the interviewer who would be on campus the following week.
