#OTD 20 September 1968 Rosemary Reed, founder and owner of Toast and Strawberries (Connecticut Ave & R St, NW), was most likely in her boutique helping customers. Reed sold quantity buttons, posters, dresses, jewelry, baby back carries and gifts for men. In addition to ready made buttons and posters β€œfor every occasion,” customers could also order custom made buttons.
