#OTD-ish 8 September 1968 Posters plastered throughout the city read: “Black Socialism Path to Real Black Capitalism: Buy Negro Bond.” The gentlemen in this photograph are conversing somewhere on Georgia Avenue. I have also seen photographs of this poster plastered on a construction site near 6th and Pennsylvania Ave, NW.
