2 gwu organizations started in 1968
Both the Multicultural Student Services Center and the Black Student Union at George Washington University were founded in 1968.
I have reached out to both and hope to connect with them soon. I'm also hoping to find alums to speak with.
Peggy Cooper Cafritz, who co-founded with Mike Malone the Workshops for Careers in the Arts, now Duke Ellington High School of the Arts, was an undergraduate at GWU at that time.
